A fresh, sterile set for every patient, autoclaved instruments, single-use items, and rooms cleaned between visits.
Safety here is the ordinary rhythm of the clinic, not a special campaign. Instruments are cleaned and autoclaved, disposable items are used once, and the chair and surfaces are wiped down before the next person sits down.
Our standards
Hospital-grade sterilisation
Reusable instruments go through ultrasonic cleaning and then an autoclave, steam under pressure that kills bacteria, viruses and spores. They come to the chair in sealed pouches.
One patient, one sterile set
Each visit uses its own packed instrument set. Nothing that touched the last patient is reused without going through the sterilisation room first.
Surfaces wiped between visits
The chair, lamp handles, tray and frequently touched surfaces are disinfected after every patient, so the room is ready before you sit down.
Single-use items
Needles, gloves, masks, cups and suction tips are used once and disposed of as medical waste. They are not washed and used again.
Masks, gloves and clinical wear
The dentist and staff wear gloves and a mask for treatment, and change them between patients. Extra protection is used for procedures that create spray.
Controlling spray and droplets
Scaling, drilling and polishing create a fine spray. High-volume suction is held close to the mouth to take that spray away at the source.
Daily cleaning of the clinic
Waiting areas, restrooms, corridors and treatment rooms are cleaned through the day. Floors and high-touch points in public areas are part of that routine.
Biomedical waste
Sharps, used disposables and clinical waste are separated, labelled and handed to a licensed waste service, not mixed with ordinary rubbish.
Sterilisation, in practice
The sterilisation bench is a working part of the clinic: ultrasonic cleaners, an autoclave, and pouches ready for the next chair. If you would like to know how a particular instrument is handled, ask when you visit, we would rather show you than leave it as a claim on a website.

Questions about hygiene
How are instruments sterilised?
Reusable instruments are cleaned in an ultrasonic bath, then sterilised in an autoclave and packed in sealed pouches. Single-use items such as needles and suction tips are thrown away after one patient.
Do you reuse gloves or needles?
No. Gloves, needles, cups and suction tips are single-use.
Is the room cleaned between patients?
Yes. The chair and the surfaces we touch during treatment are disinfected after each visit before the next person is called in.
What should I do if I am unwell on the day?
Please call before you travel. If you have a fever, a cough or a contagious illness, we can move the appointment so you and other patients stay safer.
